Jeff Meyers
Jeff and his wife, Jaime, are passionate about helping musicians reach their God-given potential and to motivate and equip the next generation of musicians. As an engineer by training from Georgia Tech, Jeff loves keeping things organized and building new things to the glory of God. If you ever come to Jeff's home, you'll find speakers and guitars all over the house, with music constantly playing. Jeff's two children, Branton and Callie, love NMME and consider it one of the best experiences of their lives.
After a twenty year career in corporate America, Jeff left to pursue his passion for the outdoors and preserving the beauty of nature by helping to launch a national recycling non-profit. He currently leads strategy development and works on improving organizational impact. With a background in engineering, sales, development, finance, and strategy, Jeff wants to help lead North Metro in the mission to encourage, educate and inspire students to achieve their full musical potential in a Christ-focused community. Have a question or want to share your ideas? If so, please reach out to him directly.

Melissa Ward
Melissa is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Architecture and became a registered architect in GA in 2007. She was blessed to be able to step out of the workforce when her first son was born but continues to practice design occasionally for friends and family. Melissa loves music and knows the benefits of music education – from piano lessons as a child to playing the saxophone in her high school concert band and marching band. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Daniel, who she began dating after a day spent together at a marching band contest! They now have two sons, Charlie and Philip, who are active at NMME.
Due to the virtual vs. in-person restrictions during COVID, Melissa and Daniel decided to begin schooling both boys at home. They joined NMME on the recommendation of a friend and the rest is history! Motivated by the difference the program initially made in her oldest son’s life – not only in his education but mainly in his self-esteem – Melissa became very involved in the organization, especially with the Marching Eagles. The program has impacted her youngest in many of the same ways and this helped her decide to join the NMME board. Melissa especially values having her sons enrolled in a Christ-centered program and aims to ensure other students can also benefit from such an environment. North Metro Music Education is full of people with those same goals in mind, and she is excited to be a part!
